About

A small, flattened crustacean with an oval-shaped body, longer than it is wide, with 7 pairs of legs and long antennae. Usually grey or brown, sometimes with pale splotches

Size

They can grow to around 3cm long

Habitat

Found under rocks and other cover in the intertidal zone avoiding entering the water and if they do they quickly head back to dry land

Distribution

Southern Australia
