About

The body is brown with a diagonal pale yellow cross on the back and yellow tips on the antennae. Rear legs of male are enlarged. This species is a herbivore feeding on wattles and cassias, but also attack new growth and flowering shoots of a range of other plants, including grapes and citrus

Size

Can grow to around 25mm long

Habitat

Can be found in most habitat types, from urban areas to the coastal heath

Distribution

Across Australia, Indonesia, and the Indo-Pacific.
